OK, so there has been a backlash of racist comments made over this Cheerio commercial featuring a black father, a white mother and their mixed child. Many are racists and of course they will have their hatred spewing from their lips. But my disdain does NOT come from a racist heart. I PERSONALLY am tired of seeing interracial relationships always MOST OF THE TIME in the media portrayed as a BLACK MAN and WHITE WOMAN. Why not a white man and black woman? Why not a Hispanic man and Chinese woman? Why not a white man and Indian woman? Black men and white women ARE NOT the only types of interracial relationships out there YET this type gets all the spotlight in "cutting edge" or "forward thinking" media, news, etc...FOR THAT REASON do I not care for this commercial. There's also the fact that according to statistics, if you believe them, the prison population is made mostly of BLACK MEN and most single parent households belong to black women. If this is true, then doesn't there NEED to be a positive portrayal of a black man who is not in prison but at home with his BLACK family? Wouldn't it benefit the black community which apparently so desperately needs it?

Barbie has always been an independent woman who has worked several jobs, made her own money, never depended on Ken for money. Ok, don't take this as racist, but I continue to be AMAZED at the things MOSTLY white folks will do to entertain themselves. I say this because most things I will mention below were INVENTED by somebody foolish and WHITE and then suddenly became a trend amongst whites and a few token blacks. From the cinnamon challenge, to huffing whiz cream cans, to soaking gummie bears in vodka, to inhaling helium to the salt and ice challenge to the marshamallow challenge to the choking game, to the hanging game, to NOW the CONDOM CHALLENGE? I tell you what these crackas is crazy! And they really seem to love games that inflict pain from a very early age...Whose raising these kids?

I really wish Will and Jada would keep their marriage and family lives TO THEMSELVES. I love them both as actors, but as people they just seem a little unbelievable. I really wonder how their kids will turn out having grown up with having the freedom of an adult at a very young age. Will their experiment-parenting prove successful or will it prove a failure? Will their kids use their freedom for good or to fall into the darkness? I would not sit here making these critiques if they would stop putting it all out there, so here goes. Kids need boundaries. Internet Racists

Ok, so every black person or even non-black person, but especially black persons, encounters internet racists while surfing the net ESPECIALLY on YouTube, as far as I can tell. These whites will purposely seek out videos of blacks behaving badly and then bad-mouth them with all sorts of slurs. I admit sometimes I stoop to their level and slur them back. It can be hard not to when it seems you have to deal with their comments on any video containing African Americans that you click on. Even if it's not a video of blacks behaving badly. Of course these racist fools don't care that there are plenty of videos of whites behaving badly out there and blacks don't go seeking them out just to bash them...Anyway, I've "fought back" in a more creative way that allows me to use my love of writing. This link is a "re-imagined" song if you will, using a similar beat as Rick Ross's "Stay Schemin" no, I'm no Rick Ross fan by any means but it suited my purposes. I'm no Mariah Carey, but at least I was brave to put myself out there so don't bother telling me I need voice lessons cos I already know..
